The above is a fun chart that says it all IMO. The green line is the chart of FuelCell Energy Inc., a clean energy company that’s been publicly traded for literally almost 30 years, and which tends to surge whenever people get excited about electric vehicles or green tech. The blue line is the cryptocurrency Ripple or XRP, which has also been around for a long time now, and has a low nominal unit price, so people think it’s “cheap.” It also tends to rally whenever we experience a bout of cryptomania, only to be forgotten about when the hysteria subsides.

According to its predictions, the value of the Ripple XRP token could rise to $0.75 by the end of 2020, rising to $1 in 2021, and achieving a mean price of $2.32 by 2025. That’s a steady increase but over 100%.
