Ukraine joins China, Russia, Brazil and Sweden to Develop their Central Bank Digital Currency

Ukraine partners with the Stellar Foundation and joins China, Russia, Brazil and Sweden as nations who have been readily proactive with their planning and implementation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). 

This week, the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation released a statement announcing their decision to build their CBDC upon the Stellar Blockchain. 

The partnership with the Stellar organisation goes beyond just the creation of a singular CBDC as the Ministry mentioned plans to devise an entire virtual asset ecosystem.
